The HAA scholarships I have received throughout the years have provided me with so much more than financial support. Being a part of this community is a continual reminder of what it actually means to pay it forward, and the personal stories and perseverance of Members and recipients continue to inspire me. I was confident that I could achieve my educational goals with the support of the Association, which inspired me to pursue a Ph.D. from Harvard University.
