The Horatio Alger Idaho State University Scholarship Program provides financial assistance to students entering their final two years of study in the College of Business at Idaho State University who have exhibited integrity and perseverance in overcoming personal adversity. Funds will only be disbursed to residents of Idaho who are completing their final two years of study at Idaho State University.

Eligibility

Students selected for the Horatio Alger Idaho State University Scholarship must exhibit the following characteristics:

• attend Idaho State University and be enrolled in the College of Business;
• critical financial need, based on the Student Aid Report (SAR);
• currently be a resident of the State of Idaho;
• demonstrate integrity and perseverance in overcoming adversity;
• prove academic achievement (minimum cumulative grade point average is 2.25 for consideration); and
• be a United States citizen

Please note, this scholarship program is exclusively for students pursuing business degrees at Idaho State University.

This application will open January 2009 for students who plan to enroll in the ISU Business School in Fall 2009.
